It All Started with a Kiss

Posted by Alison Heikkila on

Hello! Have you seen the latest release from Sassy & Crafty? I love the new "Sassy Girls- Kiss" stamp set, which is what I used on today's card. I thought this gal was perfectly sassy and I had to color her right away. I felt like I needed to use green.....I was just in that mood. I chose a color very similar to a shade of green lipstick that I actually have (and wear!). I also used the greens in her hair. She was colored with Copics, and I think she's got a very cool style. Most of the time,...

Let it Snowman!

Posted by Justin Averill on

Hey Sassy & Crafty friends! Justin here from the Sassy Crew, and can you believe that the holidays are here? All that hard work we've been putting into getting our cards out on time to friends and family is coming to a close (and may be running a tad late as well if you're like me). Warm Fuzzies

Hello! I've got a card that uses a sweet little fox from Sassy & Crafty to share with you today. This cutie is from the Warm Winter Cuddles stamp set, and he's one of 3 sweet characters. I've been on a bit of a teal, coral, and olive green kick, so I thought this would be a great color combination to go with the colors I used on the fox himself. I colored him with Copics, then fussy cut him out. If you've been a follower of mine for even a short time, you'll know that one of my favorite...

Look at That Stash!

Hello! Alison here. Today I have a card that not only uses a Gel Print I made during a FB Live, but it also uses 2 of the new Sassy Girls: Crafty stamps from Sassy & Crafty. If you had a chance to watch that FB Live, you know I was having a really good time making those backgrounds. I also love actually using them on projects too, and I knew that using one on this card was going to be just perfect. I colored the surprised Sassy Girl with my Copics and fussy cut her. I trimmed one of...

Crafting Makes Everything Better

Posted by Julissa Padilla on

Hi all you sassy & crafty friends!  It's Jules of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog today sharing another awesome edition of Sassy Girls!  This Crafty Sassy Girl is a beautiful mess and pairs perfectly with the Abstract Art stencil.  Here's how she can make everything better. For this card I used a fun combo of Distress Oxides (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Fossilized Amber) over the Abstract Art stencil.  Once inked, I used clear embossing powder to add a little texture.  Oxide inks take a little time to dry so you can use embossing powder, but they don't...
