Just a Simple Ombre

Hi everyone!  This is Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules and I'm so excited about the start of sneak peek weeks on the Sassy & Crafty blog.  Today, I'll start with this super simple but colorful background to highlight this new sentiment set called "Grateful."  This set is filled with beautiful words of inspiration ready for any card-front.       To make this ombre background, I started with a piece of watercolor paper cut to 4" x 5.25".  Using my Viviva watercolors, I started with light green.  Watering down the top part and using more ink as I go down. Beauty in Everyday Things

Happy Satur-YAY!  It's Jules on the blog today sharing a super simple and cool card using the Halloween Scene stencil and the You Are - Sentiments stamp set.  I absolutely love all the Sassy & Crafty Stamps sentiment sets because they go so well with other stamps and stencils!     For this super simple card, I started with white bristol smooth paper and a piece of scrap that I die cut using a circle die.  I put down the circle on the bristol smooth using removable adhesive.  Then I used, Distress Oxide Inks Chipped Sapphire and Stormy Sky.  Starting...

I am using our NEW SEPTEMBER RELEASE Monster Hugs stamp set this week for our CMM series. These monsters are most definitely my favorite thing from our fall line. As a child I loved monsters, and I raised 4 boys and monsters were always a part of our lives for years!
