The Sky Was Never the Limit

Posted by Alison Heikkila on

Hello! Alison Heikkila here and I have a brand new Sassy Girl from Sassy and Crafty to share with you today! She's from the new Sassy Girls- Fly stamp set, and I think she's rad. This Sassy Girl immediately reminded me of the WWII days, and also the Steampunk style. I can see projects being made with both of those vibes easily. I went for more of a WWII era feel. I colored her with Copics, and I loved the idea of giving her an olive green jacket. The patch on her jacket immediately gave me "Geometric Nature" stencil vibes,...

Chatty Sassy Girl & Therm O Web

Posted by Alison Heikkila on

Greetings! Did you know that this month Sassy & Crafty is collaborating with Therm O Web? It's true, and I'm so excited about it. I was super stoked to play with some of their newest products, especially the Toner Card Fronts, one of which I have used here today. Of course, I had to pair it with one of the latest Sassy Girls, from the Sassy Girls- Chatty stamp set. She'll be available, along with the rest of the new release starting tonight (3/5/21). I colored this gorgeous gal using my Copics. I went out of my comfort zone and...

I also love actually using them on projects too, and I knew that using one on this card was going to be just perfect. I colored the surprised Sassy Girl with my Copics and fussy cut her. I trimmed one of...

Crafting Makes Everything Better

Hi all you sassy & crafty friends!  It's Jules of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog today sharing another awesome edition of Sassy Girls!  This Crafty Sassy Girl is a beautiful mess and pairs perfectly with the Abstract Art stencil.  Here's how she can make everything better. For this card I used a fun combo of Distress Oxides (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Fossilized Amber) over the Abstract Art stencil.  Once inked, I used clear embossing powder to add a little texture.  Oxide inks take a little time to dry so you can use embossing powder, but they don't...

It Started Out with a Kiss

Posted by Julissa Padilla on

Hi everyone! This is Jules of the Sassy Crew and I'm super excited to share my VERY FIRST time playing with these Gel Press products.  And it all started with a kiss!  This week Sassy & Crafty Stamps is collaborating with Gel Press to share some fun new ways of getting inky!  And here's my take.       Although I recently purchased some acrylic paints to use with the Gel Press, I couldn't remember where I put them when I packed up my craft room for some renovations... so I used what I had in reach, my Distress Oxide inks. ...
