Find Yourself

Posted by Alison Heikkila on

Hello! Alison Heikkila here, and I have a card using one of the newest stamps sets from Sassy & Crafty today, and it may be my favorite stamp set by them ever. It's called Find Yourself, and it's full of beautiful sentiments and stunning goddesses. I began by coloring this goddess with Copics. For her skin, I used E50, E53, E33, and R20. Her hair was colored with E31, E25, and E59. The rest of the image used E43, E41, E13, G07, YG11, R35, R32, E29, R24, and R22. I gave her a loose fussy cut and moved on to...

Greetings! Alison Heikkila here. I have a sneak peek for you today, and I am beyond excited about it. I can tell you honestly that the June release for Sassy & Crafty is truly my favorite release the company has had. It's all about magic, nature, and imagination. The imagery from the "Find Yourself" stamp set is so gorgeous, and the sentiments are really great too. Look at this stunning goddess. I colored...

Of course, I had to pair it with one of the latest Sassy Girls, from the Sassy Girls- Chatty stamp set. She'll be available, along with the rest of the new release starting tonight (3/5/21). I colored this gorgeous gal using my Copics. I went out of my comfort zone and...

Warm Fuzzies

Hello! I've got a card that uses a sweet little fox from Sassy & Crafty to share with you today. This cutie is from the Warm Winter Cuddles stamp set, and he's one of 3 sweet characters. I've been on a bit of a teal, coral, and olive green kick, so I thought this would be a great color combination to go with the colors I used on the fox himself. I colored him with Copics, then fussy cut him out. If you've been a follower of mine for even a short time, you'll know that one of my favorite...

Crafting Makes Everything Better

Posted by Julissa Padilla on

Hi all you sassy & crafty friends!  It's Jules of Paper Gems by Jules on the blog today sharing another awesome edition of Sassy Girls!  This Crafty Sassy Girl is a beautiful mess and pairs perfectly with the Abstract Art stencil.  Here's how she can make everything better. For this card I used a fun combo of Distress Oxides (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Fossilized Amber) over the Abstract Art stencil.  Once inked, I used clear embossing powder to add a little texture.  Oxide inks take a little time to dry so you can use embossing powder, but they don't...
