Look at That Stash!

Posted by Alison Heikkila on

Hello! Alison here. Today I have a card that not only uses a Gel Print I made during a FB Live, but it also uses 2 of the new Sassy Girls: Crafty stamps from Sassy & Crafty. If you had a chance to watch that FB Live, you know I was having a really good time making those backgrounds. I also love actually using them on projects too, and I knew that using one on this card was going to be just perfect. I colored the surprised Sassy Girl with my Copics and fussy cut her. Happy Satur-YAY!  It's Jules on the blog today sharing a super simple and cool card using the Halloween Scene stencil and the You Are - Sentiments stamp set.  I absolutely love all the Sassy & Crafty Stamps sentiment sets because they go so well with other stamps and stencils!     For this super simple card, I started with white bristol smooth paper and a piece of scrap that I die cut using a circle die.  I put down the circle on the bristol smooth using removable adhesive.  Then I used, Distress Oxide Inks Chipped Sapphire and Stormy Sky.  Starting...

I love these funny sassy birds and their snarky sentiments from the new "Petunia: Chicken Tales" stamp set. We all have that friend or relative that has some sharp wit that would totally appreciate these stamps!        For this card, I used one of the many images colored her with copic markers.  (E99, YR24, Y15, Y02 & R08).  For the background I cut out a distressed edged paper and cut it to fit a corner.  I used the...

Big sentiments are awesome! These new big sentiments from the new "Happy Everything" stamp set are great for any card!  Along with these big words, are smaller sentiments to match.  Check out this fun, cheery card made to brighten your day!     The highlight to this card is actually the dry embossing using the "Mermaid Tails" stencil. First, I used it to color the background.  Next, I held the stencil over the paper and used the embossing mat under the paper. to create a raised image with the stencil (see sample below without ink).      This is another...
