Color Me Monday #15

Posted by Amy Purdie on

This week's CMM I am taking it back to basics. I am using primary colors.  They are the basic colors that we form such wonderful colors like orange, green, and purple!. They can communicate childhood, classic design, and even patriotism!Since I am showing off our NEW JULY RELEASE Sassy Girls - Brave stamp set I thought I would use those primary colors to create a patriotic theme. One of the girls from this set is very reminiscent to Rosie the Riveter! If you don't know who that is, well let me share a little history with you. Rosie the Riveter was a cultural...

What's Black, White and Pink All Over!

Hi crafty friends!  Who doesn't just LOVE the Sassy Girls line by Sassy & Crafty Co.!?  These girls are so beautiful and just so fun!  My first instinct is to do a comic book type look by coloring them black and white, but how about adding some sass with hot pink! 💖     For colors, I used the cool grey Copic markers.  C7, C5 & C3 to color the hair and C3, C1 & C0 to color her skin.  The lips, shirt, nails were RV19, RV09 & RV04.  I colored the donuts with a lighter pink using RV02 &...

A Ruff Take on the Mona Lisa

Posted by Julissa Padilla on

Ever see a stamp and have a crazy idea?! Well, this new Furever Friends stamp by Sassy & Crafty Stamps instantly gave me a vision of Mona Lisa as a dog. I think stamps can be anything you want them to be. You can color them in lots of different ways to make them be whatever you imagine... including an incredibly famous painting. 💁🏻‍♀️ For this card, I kind of cheated and printed the background of the Mona Lisa from a google search. I added a little Copic coloring to the background so that it would still look like it...
