I'm not Kitten you!

This by far is my favorite NEW RELEASE for JULY!
The Thank Mew Stamp set! It has 3 adorable kittens and some incredibly adorable knitted smaller stamps as well as a few very punny sentiments!
What's not to love? Kittens, knitted hearts and sentiments like
"I'm not Kitten you"
Because I really wanted the kittens to be the real star of my card I decided to mask and stamp all three kittens together on a simple white cardstock background.

I colored my kittens using Copics.
For my Copic Colors I used:
Kitten 1:C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, Y21, Y26
Hat: BG10, BG11, BG34, BG49
Kitten 2: B000, C1, C2, 0. B00, B02, B12
Bow: Y21, YR21, YR24, Y26
Kitten 3: E00, E95, E35, YG00, YG03, YG17
Bow: B00, RV11, Y21, BG11
Yarn Ball: B00, B02, B12, B05
Shadow: C1, C2, C3, C5, 0

Then I stamped my sentiments and adhered the card to an A7 white cardstock card base using foam tape. That's it! I kept it all about the coloring and those kittens.

I just love their sweet little faces and there are so many combinations you can create when using this stamp because the kittens are stand-alone stamps from the ball of yarn.

Be sure to join us in the Stamp & Scrapbook EXPO @home Facebook page on Saturday, June 25th because I will be presenting a tutorial at 3:50 pm PST featuring this stamp as well as the Knitted Stencil that goes with the set!
Here's a little sneak peek to tempt you!

Our wonderful lead designer Julissa will also have a fun technique using this set  Saturday here on the blog!

Have a Sassy & Crafty Day!

  • Either the day or date is posted incorrectly above: “Be sure to join us in the Stamp & Scrapbook EXPO @home Facebook page on Saturday, June 25th…” Saturday is June 27. Today is Thursday, June 25. I was so confused! :)
