I miss you Plushie Dragon

Posted by Amy Hurley-Purdie on

This Friday I was up for a challenge so I let my daughter challenge me with a color palette. She told me orange, green, and purple was what I must use to create a card and I must use the adorable Plushie Dragon stamp set! So the first thing that popped into mind was rainbow sherbert! I thought those are perfect colors, right? Something like this . . .

And come on, there's nothing cuter than that sweet little dragon face, right? I love using this stamp set and I especially love that it has 16 sentiments!!! Here is what I came up with. I used a simple layout and no line coloring technique to color the dragon.

I used Copic markers -
YR02,R11,R02,R22, BV000, BV00, BV11, BV13, RV11
and a Prismacolor pencil to add some shadows
PC 930
(we will have a video coming out soon all about no-line coloring so be sure to watch for it)

Of course, you know me I had to add sparkle! I used this gorgeous confetti blend that has all these tiny little stars, some rhinestones and my favorite EK Stick-O dimensional circle stickers in pastel.

This weekend why not try challenging yourself to make a card based on an unusual color palette. You can go to these color palette generator websites to get some inspiration! Have fun and be sure to post your Sassy & Crafty creations in our SM sites!
