Color Me Monday #7

Posted by Amy Hurley-Purdie on

Happy May! If you are just tuning in then I am happy to let you know that this weekend we had our May Release! We've got new stamps and stencils in the shop and because of that, I am using a brand new stamp for today's CMM!

I am using the adorable Jungle Fever set. I thought I would challenge myself to make a card that doesn't involve a jungle theme, and I just had to use this stinking cute hippo! Plus you guys know me I love a good neon moment!

This week's palette has NEON!

I used Gina K neon enamel transfer sheet in Poppin Pink and our Awesome Stars stencil to create my neon background. I love the glossy enamel finish and stars are the perfect size and shape to create this Poppin paper!

I used Copics to color my sweet little Jungle Fever hippo in these shades:
Hippo: C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, RV02, RV06, RV09

The sketch I used is currently my favorite because depending on what paper you used the card can look so different. That means you can make the same card again and again and it always looks different!

Take the challenge and see what you can make! Don't forget to join us on Wednesday for Beth's FB LIVE where she uses the sketch and the color palette to create her own card!

I hope you have enjoyed this Color Me Monday and I can't wait to see what you create with these bold colors!

Have a Sassy & Crafty Day!
